Father God, Your word says bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Lord because you have commanded me to act in this manner when I am being persecuted, I offer to you (name of person) to be blessed in Your name Lord. I pray that you will bless this person with (specifically name everything that you know is a godly desire of this person) bless them when they are coming out or going in, when they are laying down and when they are getting up. Bless their entire family, their husband/wife, their children that their entire family will be saved. I pray that they along with their entire family would fulfill the purpose you created them for on this earth. That they would not be lacking in any good thing. That their barn would be overflowing with Your riches from heaven. That you would bless their ministry and their family causing them to prosper above all they could ask think of imagine. I pray hat you would bless and establish to work of their hands for your glory and honor. I pray that you would keep them in good health to do your work and to be used according to your purpose.

I choose this day not to repay anyone evil for evil and as far as it depends on me to live at peace with everyone. I will not take revenge but I will leave room for you Almighty God for it is Yours to avenge; Instead if (name of person) is hungry, I will feed him/her; if he/she is thirsty, I will give him/her something to drink. Whatever is in my power or control to give or do I will do it Lord. I will not stand in the way of their success even more so if it is related to building your Kingdom. I will not be overcome by evil, but I will overcome evil with good.

Lord I pray for your special grace that when I am cursed, I will bless; when I am persecuted, I will endure it; when I am slandered, I will answer kindly.

Lord Jesus, I do not think of myself more highly than I ought, but rather think of myself with sober judgment. For the same persecution I face this day is the same persecution you faced. Even today there are times when I still persecute You and make you out to be a liar when I know what your word says and still disobey. I ask that you forgive me Lord and make intercession for me as I am reminded daily of your mercy & grace. I pray that as merciful & gracious as you have been to me so I will offer the same to (name of person) and I forgive them this day.

Therefore, in view of Your mercy, transform me by renewing my mind with Your word. Cause me to see __________ as you see them, to have a heart of love for them as you love them to understand them through Your eyes and to have speech seasoned with wisdom when I speak to them.

In blessing (name of person) I acknowledge that I am indeed your daughter/son and I know that my reward is with you for honoring you by obeying your word. In return I ask for nothing more than a release from any evil thoughts, intentions or feelings and a renewed joy and freedom to serve You. In Jesus Name. Amen.

The Bible mentions “generational curses” in several places (Exodus 20:5; 34:7; Numbers 14:18; Deuteronomy 5:9).
It sounds unfair for God to punish children for the sins of their fathers. However, this is looking at it from an earthly perspective. God knows that sin is passed down from one generation to the next. When a father has a sinful lifestyle, his children are likely to have the same sinful lifestyle as well. That is why it is not unjust for God to punish sin to the third or fourth generation – because they are committing the same sins their ancestors did. They are being punished for their own sins, not the sins of their ancestors. The Bible specifically tells us that God does not hold children accountable for the sins of their parents (Deuteronomy 24:16).

The following scriptures illustrate biblical examples of renounced curses:

Daniel (Daniel 9:4-19), Nehemiah (Nehemiah 1:5-7), King Josiah (2 Kings 22:11,13,19-20), Jews (Nehemiah 9:1-37)

Ezra (Ezra 9:5-15; 10:1), Asa (1 Kings 15 :11-14).

More examples:

Matthew 23:31-35

Jeremiah 32:16-18

Deuteronomy 5:8

Doorways to Generational Curses:

General Sins

Abandonment
Murder

Abortion
Music (rock [some of the lyrics are demonic incantations], occultic, satanic, or rebellious, sexual, drug oriented, or focusing on death)

Abuse (mental, physical and sexual, of children, elderly or anyone)
Neglect

Anger (a quick or bad temper, hatred, murderous rage, bitterness)
Nightmares/night terrors

Blasphemy
Off-color jokes

Child abuse
People representing satan (witches, witch doctors)

Cursing
Pride

Defeat
Rebellion

Disfavor
Rejection

Dishonoring parents
Relational curses (from authority, such as parents, pastors, grandparents, teachers, doctors, husbands)

Drug “trips”
Robbing God of tithes and offerings

Drunkenness
Self-imposed curses (negative words you speak over yourself)

Fear/terror
Soulish prayers, utterances and gossip

Gambling
Stealing and perjury

Gluttony
Tattoos

Hatred of God
Teenage pregnancy

Humiliation
Trusting in the arm of flesh (in man or our carnal efforts)

Idolatry
Unbelief

Injustice to the weak
Unscriptural seeking of spiritual gifts and experience

Jezebel

Lying, deceit/dishonesty
Violent acts (i.e, rape, murder)

Materialism
Vulgar language, cursing (Lord’s name in vain)

Mockery
Wishing death (for self or others)

So, be safe and ask Jesus to cut any generational ties to you and anyone in your family who may have begun these curses. Ask Him to also cut any of these ties between you and your children and grand children.

four Curses in the Bible

CURSE THOSE THAT CURSE ISRAEL:

Genesis 12:3: “And I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all nations of the earth be blessed.”

BIRTH OUT OF WEDLOCK:
This is a 10 generation curse of Deuteronomy 23:2. God commanded that a person of illegitimate birth must be kept out of the congregation of the Lord, and his ancestors for ten generations. See the mighty prayers of which the sins of the fathers were repented of in Nehemiah 9:2-3 and in Daniel 9:5-6. They both took this very serious.

IDOL WORSHIP: See Exodus 20:4-5 “..visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children even unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me”.

SOUL TIES:
God made marriage to be a covenant. It is coming together under one flesh. In the Old Testament, mere
sexual relations constituted a marriage. So intimacy with someone actually creates a covenant link — or “soul tie”. It would be wise to confess this to Jesus and ask that any of these out of marriage sexual relationships (”soul ties”) be severed, except from your husband or wife….

Freemasonry is also a generational curse. Freemasonry is also a religion other than Christianity. Masonry’s practices and doctrines are iniquities laced with idolatry, paganism, the occult, Kabala, fertility cults, Satanism, spiritualism, demonology, and put it into a blender and come up with the Masonic religion. It is not of God! It is a false religion; the Harlot of Babylon. Masons say they offer new candidates “the light”. The light they are actually giving is: Lucifer. The Christian Bible says that Satan walks to and fro on this earth masquerading as an “angel of light”, that many might be deceived

Outward signs that a curse may be in operation within your family:

Mental or emotional breakdown

Miscarriages or female problems

Breakdown of marriage and family alienation (where a family falls apart)

Financial deficiency, especially where income appears to be sufficient

Being accident prone

Suicides or unnatural deaths

Frustration at every turn

Repeated or chronic sickness that follows the generations

Lack of permanency (a wanderer, vagabondism)

HOW TO BREAK THE PATTERN OF DESTRUCTION OVER YOUR LIFE:

(Galatians 3:13-15),(Colossians 1:12-14),(1 John 3:8)
Confess your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Commit yourself to obedience.
Identify the sins and iniquities of your ancestors. Remember that you marry a generation. When you marry, any generational curses in the heritage or bloodline of your in-laws will be operational in your descendants also.
Confess known sins that you and your ancestors may have committed.
Forgive your ancestors, living or dead, for bringing these curses upon you.
With a humble heart, ask God to forgive the sins of your forefathers; ask Him to forgive and cleanse you for your participation in the sins of your generation.
Forgive anyone from whom you might be withholding forgiveness.
Renounce all contact with the occult and secret societies, and get rid of or destroy all objects that are connected with the curses.
Release yourself and declare the curses broken in the Name of Jesus.

Have you heard about the new internet church? Well, it’s not like this is the first time that services are being streamed online. In fact our own ministry relies on technology heavily to get prayers across the world. Most churches also have their services streamed online or they have on demand video.

So what is so different about this one? Well, to have a church based only on the internet where you conduct your own baptism, serve yourself communion and click on an icon to say whether or not you received Christ is far removed from the picture of the early church.

What happens to the holiness of the sacraments? Is your next door neighbor qualified to baptize you because she happens to be the one there at the time?

Here is what the scripture says Acts 2:41-43 “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” When does this take place in an online church?

Technology is great and a gift from God but it should never take the place of personal contact and fellowship.

Where is the fellowship online? Based on the concept of this church email addresses are exchanged and Facebook information for people to connect. The pastor is removed from the process of connecting with people. If they want to speak with him they can do so via an online chat room.

I guess this church will never have use for the Matthew 18:15-17? “If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.” With this model all they will have to do is shut off the computer.

When does the gift of hospitality come into play? It is enough that our youth have lost their social skills due to too much time spent infront of television, computers & sending text messages. Now we put them behind a computer to connect with the church. I think this is despicable. At what point can we say that we’ve crossed the line?

One church said that they only intended for this to be used by shut ins and for those abroad in the military but it has taken off more than they could imagine. Is the pastor encouraging the viewers to get from behind the computer screen and connect with human beings? I sure hope so.

The only place where my conscience sees the need for such a church would be in the persecuted nations where believers cannot gather together. When we have been given religious freedoms in North America and elsewhere to meet together and fellowship with one another we should rejoice in that freedom and embrace what God has given us.

I’ll pray for these pastors and for their ‘congregation’ that the Lord will guide them into His way.

This is just not sitting right with me and I had to share. You can read an article here about the church

This Saturday morning at 10:00AM EST I will be doing a teaching and praying for the Leaders in our lives. I think many times when people think about leaders they think of the President or the Prime Minister of the country.

Well, it’s a lot more than that! Your leaders are your Parents, your Husband, your Pastor, Rabbi, Elder, Bishop or Priest, your Boss and your President.

Praying for Presidents and world leaders can be a very tricky thing for most Christians because if they are not “for” the current President they pray less for that person. I guess it is human nature.

Well, I’m going to be talking about that and also showing how we can live this out practically in our every day life.

Something for you to ponder until Saturday, here’s what God has to say about the matter:

1 Timothy 2:1-4 “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

Here is the link to the program for Saturday Prayer Radio Program
or you can call in and listen over the phone or join the discussion at 347 202 0098.

I’ve often been asked what my views are about praying early in the morning so I wanted to write this post to share my views on the matter.

Firstly, I think it is more important to God that you pray regardless of what time you pray. Secondly, the time that you pray can have alot to do with who you are. Some people are early morning risers while others are better at night. I don’t believe we get some kind of “super spiritual” status because we pray early. It’s just not a point I would use to judge someone’s maturity in the Lord.

However, I want to share with you what early morning prayer did for me.

I must say that when I first started with intercession I was praying in the evenings but I found it a little hard because at the end of the day there was so much going on in my head that is was very difficult for me to focus. I met a few intercessors that prayed at 5AM and they invited me a few times to join them on a prayer line. I remembered thinking “I will never do that!” because I couldn’t picture myself getting up that early to pray.

Well, God started doing an amazing thing – He would wake me up at 4:45am every morning. Isn’t that funny? I would wake up and then lay there until I fell asleep again. Even though I knew that there was a prayer line happening, sleeping just seemed more enjoyable for me. Then the next morning the same thing happened..of course, I did the same thing – roll over and go back to sleep. After the third time, I said to God “Alright then, I’ll get up and pray”. What amazed me was that I would wake up without an alarm. It was my queue from God that He wanted me to do this.

Here’s the interesting thing, I found that early in the morning my head was clearer. I felt more connected in the spirit to God and a thousand times more sensitive to things in the spiritual realm.

After a week or two of God waking me up in the morning that suddenly stopped. And when I missed the prayer because I overslept, I felt really bad because I missed connecting with the other intercessors. This is where I needed to make the decision and put certain things in place in order to get up in the morning. So I want to share with you a few things that I had to do to keep this up:

* It’s important to note that you have to sacrifice some things in order to get close to God and to grow in intercession
* First, get an alarm clock and make sure that you set it so that you can wake up. God woke me up for the first two weeks, after that I needed to make the effort to do it. God likes to test your level of commitment to his plan for you.
* If you plan on getting up to pray at 4:45am to be ready to pray, this means that you will have to go to bed earlier. First big sacrifice – end all phone conversations and television by 9pm and you will probably be asleep by 10pm. This will ensure that you are well rested and ready to pray.

The benefits far exceed the sacrifice:

* A clear head makes for focused prayers
* You’ll be more in tune with the Holy Spirit
* There is nothing like intercessors praying together. When the giftings work together the most amazing things happen. You’ll see miracles and ALOT of answered prayers (iron sharpens iron). God is never going to give all the information to one person because we would become very prideful so He will give each person a piece of the puzzle. Coming together will give you the whole picture.
* Starting the day off with prayer sets you up for major success during that day.
* God will be very pleased with your sacrifice for Him
* You will grow in your spiritual gift as you pray with other intercessors and also discover a few that you didn’t know you had.

These are just a few tips but if you follow through with it, I am sure you will be able to enjoy that early morning time with the Lord. Remember, I didn’t know that I was an early morning prayer person until I tried.

Here are some scriptures about early morning prayer:

Mark 1:35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

Psalm 63:6 On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night. (The first watch is 6- 9pm, the second watch 9-12 midnight, the third watch12 midnight – 3am and the fourth watch is 3-6am)

Psalm 119:148 My eyes stay open through the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promises.

Lamentations 2:19 Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children, who faint from hunger at the head of every street.

Luke 12:38 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the second or third watch of the night.

Happy Praying!!
